The Aalborg was originally built in the 1900’s and then 60 years ago became the Danish consulate. The first owners were gay and fabulous, known for their collection of antiques in the side building and their infamous garden parties complete with live flamingos.
Since then, the hotel has had 2 more owners and has been completely renovated along the way into the wonderful edifice you see today.
